Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived on Sunday to the Indonesian island of Bali to participate in the G20 summit, where he will represent Tuesday and Wednesday President Vladimir Putin.

The Russian minister arrived on a Russian official plane landing at Denbasar airport from Bennah, where he attended the Southeast Asian Countries Association (ASEAN).
In a statement of the Group of Twenty, the Russian Foreign Ministry called for focusing on the economic issues for which this formula that brings together major economies in the world was established, instead of security issues that fall within the jurisdiction of the United Nations.
“We categorically reject the politicization of the Group of Twenty, the introduction of relevant issues and the confrontation deliberately in its discussions, and isolate the participants on the basis of false accusations,” she said.
