More than 40,000 migrants have arrived in Britain since the beginning of this year, who crossed the English channel in boats, according to Sky News reports, quoting data from the country’s Ministry of Defense.
The channel, quoting the British Ministry of Defense data, said that “972 people crossed on Saturday 22 boats, bringing the total number of migrants who have crossed from the beginning of 2022 to date 40,885 people.
”
Earlier, the Guardian newspaper reported that in September the number of illegal immigrants who arrived in the United Kingdom since the beginning of the year via the entire English channel has exceeded the entire year.
Illegal immigrants often search for any opportunity to cross the English channel (from France) and end up in the United Kingdom, where they are attracted through a social program, and the possibility of obtaining a refugee status and financial assistance.
