The Polish Border Guard Agency announced today, Sunday, the number of Ukrainian refugees that the country received to 7 million and 700,000 refugees, since the beginning of the Russian war on February 24.
The agency said – according to (Radio Poland) in its English publishing – that 25 thousand and 200 refugees arrived from Ukraine to Poland on Friday, while 24 thousand and 800 others left; Returning to their country to the total returnees of 5 million and 896 thousand refugees.
It is noteworthy that Poland had passed last March a draft law that provides a package of support for Ukrainian refugees fleeing from their country, and gives them legal residency, and guarantees them the right to obtain education, health care and social services..
