Tunisian Anas Jaber loses Wimbledon final

This is Rybakina’s (23 years old and rated 23 in the world) maiden major championship. She was born in Russia but elected to represent Kazakhstan in 2018 rather than Russia, whose players were barred from competing in the current iteration owing to continuing war actions in Ukraine.

Anas Jaber attained this advanced position after a busy career that began at the age of eight, through local beginner courses that produced remarkable results that encouraged her parents to take notice and support her to continue the path, as she travelled to Paris for the first time when she was ten years old to compete in her first international championship.

Anas Jaber continued to play at Hammam Sousse Tennis Club until she was thirteen, when she transferred to the Sports Institute in Tunis to learn, practise, and enhance her playing talents.

Anas Jaber previously stated in public interviews that she profited immensely from coming to the Sports Institute since the results of her labour were not delayed, adding: “In 2011, I obtained my first international championship when I won the Roland Garros Women’s Championship when I was 16 years old.”
In 2012, the player made her professional debut, competing in the maiden WTA championship in Doha, Qatar, in February of that year, however she did not get past the first round.

Anas Haber made a remarkable career and a bright history for herself over the course of ten years of breaking into the world of professional tennis, but the imprint of her family was constantly present in most of her participations, as the physical trainer supervising her is none other than her husband Karim Kamon, who married her in 2015 before becoming a coach. Her fitness has improved since 2017.

Anas Jaber of Tunisia has lost the Wimbledon final.
