A variety of creative bodies and centres are hosting cultural and artistic events today, including the following:
In the presence of a group of artists, members of the arbitration committees, and public figures from various activities from around the world, the 44th Cairo International Film Festival, which runs from November 13 to November 22 at the Egyptian Opera House, begins. Some artists and public figures will be honoured during the festival activities. One of the oldest, most frequent, and oldest festival in the Arab world, Africa, and the Middle East is the Cairo International Film Festival. It is also the oldest festival in these regions to have gained international recognition.

Beginning at the Children’s Cultural Garden in Mrs. Zainab and continuing until the conclusion of the activities of the climate conference in Sharm El-Sheikh, a 30-meter-long mural drawing is created by Egyptian children as a plea to the rest of the world to protect the environment.

At seven o’clock in the evening, a consulate building will host the signing and discussion of the story collection “Out of the Year,” which was published by Dar Al Ain Publishing. According to reports, “outside the year” is a story collection that includes stories for female writers from the Delta and is the result of the “Speech Episode” project, which is concerned with art writing and storytelling from a feminist perspective.

In conjunction with the library’s Antiquities Museum and in honour of the 100th anniversary of the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb, the Sunday Cinema Program at the Library of Alexandria presents a lecture by critic Sami Helmy on the treatment of the international cinema of Tutankhamun.

At precisely six o’clock in the evening, the “popular touches” exhibition by the plastic artist Jihan Al-Royal will open in the Raman Center at the Taha Hussein Museum of the Fine Arts Sector. It is noteworthy that the royal has participated in numerous art galleries and held her first art exhibitions at Cairo Atelier in 2002. She has also won several awards, including first place in the Nile History and Civilization Competition in 1999 and the “popular touch” award.
