Germany welcomes investment plans for another billion euros in transportation methods leading to Ukraine

Jim Ozdimir, the minister of agriculture for Germany, welcomed plans by the European Union to work with partners to invest 1 billion euros in Ukraine-bound transportation.

The minister from the Green Party told the German News Agency on Saturday that “these alternative methods are the arteries of real life: agricultural exports believe in Ukraine to obtain significant revenues, and give a state of calm to the global grain markets and thus saturate millions of hunger around the world.”

According to Ozdemir, his Ukrainian counterpart, Mikola Solsky, is looking for a way to direct the delivery of grains to nations that are particularly hungry.
It is noteworthy that prior to the Russian attack, Ukraine conducted the majority of its trade through its Black Sea ports, which are only permitted to export a limited number of agricultural products due to lack of security.
