The Atletico Madrid team qualified for the second round of the King’s Cup, after its victory over its counterpart al -Mazan – which is active in the third division – with a clean double on Saturday evening.
In the opening round of the King’s Cup, Atletico Madrid easily defeated Al-Mazan at the final stadium on Saturday night.
The goals of the match opened Argentine striker Angel Correa in the 35th minute, before the second goal added his teammate Joao Felix in the 65th minute, to end the match with the victory of Al -Rukhi Blancos.
On Sunday night, the King’s Cup championship’s first round will come to a close. Real Madrid and Barcelona will begin competing in the championship games in the second round.
By defeating Almazan, Atletico Madrid advances to the Spanish Cup second round.
