The Hadith of the Morning and the Ely, the title of one of the novels by the late international author Naguib Mahfouz, who won the Nobel Prize for Literature, and which later became a television series with the same name, must be drawn when you skip your feet at the Sharjah International Book Fair.
Your eyes will be drawn to several scenes as soon as you walk into the studio, including numerous images of Mahfouz, also known as the “Prince of the Arabic Novel,” images of newspapers that featured news and pictures about him, and “coffee and tea tools” that resemble those Mahfouz used when he wrote. Mahfouz began each day by going to the Al-Fishawi Cafe and drinking coffee while he wrote his novels and stories to ensure that history is not forgotten.
In order to be unique, different, and express the spirit of the exhibition at the same time, the location represents a studio where interviews with the exhibition’s celebrities are conducted. The interviews are conducted in the gracious company of the late author Naguib Mahfouz.
This choice is due to the importance of Naguib Mahfouz literary and the great cultural heritage that he left for many years, making him the best representative of contemporary culture at the Sharjah International Book Fair.
