The Tunisian Minister of Tourism inspects the final touches in Djerba in preparation for the Francophone Summit

In order to see the final preparations for the Francophone Summit, which is set for November 19 and 20, Tunisia’s Minister of Tourism, Mohamed Al-Moez Belhasin, visited the Francophone Village on the island of Djerba today, on Saturday.

In a statement released today, the minister noted that the Francophone Village will be hosting a number of artistic, cultural, scientific, and recreational events tomorrow, Sunday. The minister also noted that the village is prepared to welcome both Tunisians and visitors from other countries.

He noted that in addition to the tourist route that summit attendees will follow, which includes the craft village and the Djerba Museum of Traditional Heritage, he had also examined the locations designated for displaying Tunisian traditional products and industries as well as the locations designated for the countries participating in the summit to express their cultural and heritage identities through traditional products or artistic and cultural offerings.

As part of the preparations for the Francophone Summit, the Tunisian Minister of Tourism inspects the finishing touches in Djerba.
