Due to his ongoing injury recovery, Leipzg Club coach Marco Rosage confirmed that his defender Lucas Closemram requires a “special program” in order to compete in the World Cup in Qatar.
“The coach of the national team knows this, we talked together, it is clear to all the people concerned that his treatment program will continue during the preparations of the national team,” Rosage said in a press conference today.

Closemram suffered a severe ankle injury in the first match of this season in the German Football League and has not participated since then.
Closemman did, however, make the German national team’s final roster, which was announced by the team’s coach Hansi Felk on Thursday.
