Ajax keeps the full mark.. Eindhoven sweeps Excelsior in the Dutch league

Ajax Amsterdam maintained their unbeaten record in the Dutch Premier League by defeating host Utrecht 2-0 in the fourth round on Sunday.
The other matches in the same stage today saw PSV Eindhoven defeat its host Excelsior 6/1, Volendam defeat its guest Twente Anschkeide 1-0, and Alkmaar defeat its host Campur by the same score.
The incumbent champion, Ajax Amsterdam, won its fourth game in a row to reclaim the lead.

The victory increased Ajax’s advantage to 12 points, two points ahead of Feyenoord, while Utrecht’s balance fell to two points in fifteenth position.
Ajax sealed the win in the first half, with Stephen Bergius scoring in the tenth minute and Brian Proby adding a second goal in the 45th.
PSV Eindhoven, for one, maintained its unblemished start to the season by defeating its host Excelsior 6-1.

PSV Eindhoven, which has won all three of their matches in the competition so far, has risen to third position with 9 points, while Excelsior, who has suffered its first loss this season in the tournament, has dropped to seventh place with 6 points.
PSV Eindhoven took the lead in the second minute thanks to Joey Fermann, who scored the second and third goals in the 29th and 45th minutes, respectively.

PSV Eindhoven’s fourth and fifth goals came in the 55th and 59th minutes, respectively, from Xavi Simmons and Cody Jackbo, while Excelsiors’ sole goal came in the 74th minute from Sieh Hormens.
Xavi Simmons scored the sixth goal for the away team and his second solo goal in the 84th minute to round off the Eindhoven goals festival.

Ajax retains the entire mark. In the Dutch league, Eindhoven sweeps Excelsior.
