The grain agreement .. Russia confirms: We did not agree to the extension

After United Nations leaders held talks with Russian officials in Geneva, on Friday, regarding the Black Sea Conventions associated with exporting grains and fertilizers from Ukraine and Russia, Moscow announced that it had not yet taken a decision regarding the extension.
The implementation of the agreement reached with the UN on the export of Russian agricultural products has not satisfied Moscow, according to a statement released by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday.

She continued by saying that she had not yet made up her mind about whether an extension was possible or not.
The Russian announcement came in response to the words of the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in the morning that extending the grain agreement will be a “correct” decision, stressing the need to put a time limit for the agreement.

It is noteworthy that the UN has expressed optimism for the unhindered export of food and fertiliser from Russia to foreign markets.
The agreement comes to an end with the agreement that permits the export of food and fertiliser across the Black Sea from a number of Ukrainian ports, which was mediated on July 22 by the United Nations and Turkey, and which would be extended on November 19 if Russia or Ukraine objected.

As a result of allegations from Ukraine that he had used a cover to attack Russian ships in the Crimea, Russia had temporarily suspended its participation.
Both a confirmation and a denial of responsibility were made by Ukraine.
