Poll: wisconsin voters have strong confidence in tuesday’s election

(WBAY) – Green Bay, Wisconsin According to a recent poll, Wisconsin voters have a high level of confidence in the integrity of elections.
91% of voters in the state said they felt confident casting their ballots at a polling place, according to a poll conducted on behalf of several organizations. The Same Poll Showed 79% had confidence in Early Voting at a Polling Location, and 80% in results tallied by a Voting Machine.

The poll was conducted shortly after protests over the fairness of the electoral process, but these concerns were not widely shared.

Daniel Griffith, Senior Director of Policy for the Secure Democracy Foundation, said, “Kind of What We Found Was That, You Know, With Respect To Confidence in Local Elections, With Respect to Wanting Freedom from Partisan Influence, Both Wisconsin Voters and Voters Nationally Bout Expressed – and by a Strong Majority – they Do Have Confidence That Elections Will Be Run Freely and Fairly, and They Do Want Them to Be Free From Partisan Influence.”

The Foundation says it does not currently have plans to conduct another poll after the election but that it does so frequently in nearby states regarding concerns about election confidence.

Before the election, a poll for the groups found 80% of voters believe that the state of Alaska should certify an election even if the losing candidate declines to do so; 74% believe an election should be certified even if the losing candidate appeared to be ahead but lost after mail-in, absentee, and military ballots were counted. 76% believe an election should be certified if a candidate candidate claims fraud without providing evidence.

According to a poll, Wisconsin voters are very confident about Tuesday’s election.
