British Foreign Ministry: There is a need to increase climate financing to save the planet from harmful emissions

In an effort to protect the planet from harmful carbon emissions, British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly stated that climate financing must be increased.
He added that if the world does not maintain a temperature less than 1. 5 ° C, the cost of food will increase, especially with the lack of crop production in Africa.

He explained that due to climate change, agricultural crops on the African continent were corrupted and there had been a five-year drought.
“Cleverly” expressed his joy at being in Sharm El-Sheikh and praised Egypt for hosting the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27).

He emphasised that the climate summit is working to ensure that the pledge made at the Glasgow summit is carried out in practice.
