Zainab Ghazi … “Ventriculum and Matn”!

The comedy series Tawam, written by Othman Al Shatti and directed by Saud Bu Obaid, stars a number of notable figures from the art world, including Ahmed Al Jasmi, Suad Ali, Mubarak Al Mana, and Mohammed Ashour. Bahraini actress Zainab Ghazi recently confirmed to Al-Rai that she has recently joined the cast.

I recently secured a contract to take part in the 30-episode television series Tawam, which is normally of a (light comedy) style and deals in its content with a variety of social and humanitarian topics, said Ghazi. The producer states that the piece has been chosen and will be displayed at the forthcoming Ramadan drama race.

I can assure you that the series is a very beautiful idea, that, to my knowledge, it has never been presented before, that it can be considered a snack for viewers, that its events will touch every home (we will try to bring a smile to them), and that its events will touch every home far from exaggerating, so I am happy that I am one of the work team with the producing company (we are all on the same heart).

She continued, “The series team will enter the first location in filming early next September in Kuwait. I will embody a very cheerful character called Ahed (who does not resemble me at all), as she is a girl (a ventricle and not dead) and light in clay, and the simplest of her sisters in dealing with others, even in appearance.

She responded, “Of course, it is important for every artist. However, if the character I will appear in was not at the required level and would reduce the effort of the previous years that worked, that would be disappointing.” When asked if she cared a lot about being in the Ramadan drama season every year, she said, “Of course, it is important for every artist.”

Since I have been trying to pick my parts carefully since 2013, it is done with effort (which is why I am absent), and my main goal is not simply to appear on the screen, but also to make a difference in the drama.

“Ventriculum and Matn,” says Zainab Ghazi.
