In order to restore peace in Ukraine, Ukrainian President Foludmir Zellinski urged the Americans to “maintain a fixed unit” while the United States holds mid-state elections on Tuesday, the results of which could influence Washington’s support for Kiev.
“I ask you to maintain a fixed unit as is the case now (and this) until the day when we will hear all the important words that we dreamed of, until we hear that peace has finally established,” Zellinski said in a video letter from Kyiv while receiving the American “Freedom Medal.”
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, Zellinski thanked “President Biden, both parties in the Congress, and every American citizen” for their significant financial, military, and diplomatic support.
Volodimir Zellinski, on the other hand, also declared that he had received a “freedom medal” from Philadelphia, which he had described as a “great honor,” but he wanted to dedicate it to “all the women and men of Ukraine” who “appear to the greatest authoritarian system in the world that only defeat is what we will be in Ukraine.”

During a meeting with Volodimir Zellinski in Kyiv, the US ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, stated that the country “is ready to stand with Ukraine as long as it is necessary.”
