In the green zone set aside for governments, where many events and activities took place in conjunction with the conference of the states parties to the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate Change, or “COP 27,” Dr. Asim Al-Jazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, officially opened the Ministry of Housing Pavilion. This was followed by the Prime Minister, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly.

Al-Jazzar stated in his remarks that the creation of sustainable green communities for future generations in various cities is a direct result of the Ministry’s efforts in various projects to preserve the environment.

He explained that while the journey must be universally accepted, the objectives and methods of implementation will vary from one city to the next depending on its specific social, economic, environmental, and spatial priorities.
