Germany and Kenya intend to agree on partnerships in the fields of development and climate

A partnership agreement in the areas of development and climate is planned between Germany and Kenya.
The Undersecretary of the German Ministry of Development, Yoshn Vlasber, and the Farid Kenyan Foreign Minister, signed a death plan for this matter today, Tuesday, during the World Climate Conference “COP 27” in the Sharm El Sheikh Resort.

Germany is planning to assist East Africa. In addition to aiding in the fight against climate change, Kenya is increasing the proportion of renewable energies (used to generate electricity) from 90% to 100% by 2030.
Sven Schults, the German Minister for Development, stated that the climate crisis had a significant negative impact on Kenya and that this had serious repercussions for agriculture and the food supply. He added that one of the goals of the climate change adaptation measures is to achieve this.

It should be noted that Kenya is currently obtaining more than 75% of its energy need from renewable sources, and vital energy, especially the thermal thermal energy, plays an important role in this matter, yet the country’s energy needs increases quickly.
Even though Kenya’s large energy supply has increased over the past ten years, particularly in rural areas, some places are still not connected to the electricity network.
