The second five-year plan for comprehensive strategic cooperation between Algeria and China was signed for the years 2022 to 2026.
The Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Tuesday that Foreign Minister Ramtan Lamamra, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Chinese, Wang Yi, announced jointly that the signing of the “second five-year plan for comprehensive strategic cooperation between Algeria and China for the years 2022-2026”.
The Foreign Ministry claims that since the two nations’ comprehensive strategic partnership relations were established, this plan is the second of its kind in the area of comprehensive strategic cooperation to be signed between them.
The plan, according to the statement, aims to “continue to intensify communication and cooperation between Algeria and China, in all fields, including the economy, trade, energy, agriculture, science, technology, and space, as well as improving the harmony between the two countries’ development strategies.”
According to the statement from the ministry, the two parties intend to take advantage of the chance to put this five-year plan into action in order to intensify their practical cooperation in all areas and ensure the continued improvement of their comprehensive strategic partnership relations.
