Democrats file a lawsuit for voting cards in Pennsylvania

John Vitman, the Democratic candidate for US Senate from Pennsylvania, has filed a lawsuit in an effort to allow voters to cast ballots by mail even if they were not signed on time.

According to CNN network American news, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court decided early this month not to accept any votes cast by mail that do not include the date of their transmission or contain incorrect dates after ruling in favour of the Republican Party in the state’s human rights lawsuit regarding the non-dated absence papers.

“The date on the postal polling plant has no impact on the qualifications of the voter and does not serve any purpose other than setting up barriers in front of the qualified voters to exercise their basic constitutional right to vote,” Witrman’s lawyers wrote in the new case they filed today, Monday, in a federal court in Pennsylvania. Mention how the first and fourteenth amendments of the United States constitution, as well as the civil rights law, are all violated by this pointless barrier.

It is noteworthy that Republican Mohamed Oz and Democrat John Vitman are engaged in a heated race in Pennsylvania, and analysts predict that this seat will be crucial in the fight for control of the Senate.
