“UNICEF” calls on participants in (COP 27) to review their plans to prevent a climate disaster

Paluma Escudero, Head of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) at the Climate Summit (COP 27) participating in the summit to review their climate plans to significantly reduce emissions and prevent a climate disaster.
In remarks made today, Tuesday, on the margins of the climate conference, Escudero stated that the summit offers a chance to establish a trustworthy roadmap with specific objectives to finance climate adaptation and establish solutions to the problem of losses and damage.

Youngsters need to work now for them, she added, stressing that children suffer to a degree that their parents did not. “Young people are among the most impacted locations on the face of the globe, they drown in climatic indolence… and this is enough… the souls are at stake.

In addition to funding social services that can withstand climate conditions and reach children who are most at danger, Escudero cautioned that children should be prioritised because the climate catastrophe is now hitting many locations.

Participants in (COP 27) are urged by “UNICEF” to examine their plans to stop a climate calamity.
