The star of Real Madrid and Belgium’s national team, Edin Hazard, made the decision to quit the Royal Club in the winter.
According to the British newspaper (The Sun), which indicated today, Tuesday, Hazard informed Real Madrid officials of his departure from the team during the next winter transfer period in January.
The newspaper added, that the former Chelsea star settled on returning to the English Premier League again, after his colleague and citizen, Real Tibo Courtois, informed his departure to the Premier League in light of Newcastle’s interest in his services.
Hazard’s Real Madrid contract expires in the summer of 2024, but that is still outside of the royal coach Carlo Ancelotti’s budget.
For 100 million euros, Hazard transferred to Real Madrid in the summer of 2019, but the former Chelsea star struggled greatly due to his history of injuries.
Furthermore, it has been widely reported that Real Madrid will allow Hazard to go in the upcoming winter transfer market.
