“Sony” will start the gradual disposal of plastic covers in its devices

A spokeswoman for the name “Sony” announced on Tuesday that the giant group will start from next year in the gradual disposal of the plastic packages of the small electronic devices it produces, such as smartphones, cameras and sound accessories.
Beginning in April, Sony will stop using plastic packaging while creating any new product weighing one kilogramme or less.

According to a “Sony” representative, the Japanese company plans to eliminate plastic from any newly manufactured small commodity container by the year 2025.
She said: “Instead of plastic, we will mainly use paper, and the so -called (original mixing material) made of bamboo, used paper and sugar cane fibers.

The spokeswoman said, “Sony eventually aims to get rid of the plastic packaging of the biggest products, including TVs, although a time frame has not yet been defined for this action.
The majority of plastic polymers, particularly those in single-use products and packaging, are difficult for nature to break down.
This material has the potential to disintegrate into a fragile pillar that contributes to pollution, which are molecules that can be found all over the planet, including in some human organs.

Moreover, “Sony” revealed a long-term worldwide strategy with the goal of achieving a “non-existent environmental imprint” throughout the whole life cycle of its goods and business operations by the year 2050.

“Sony” will begin gradually getting rid of the plastic covers on its products.
