Adel Al-Atari, a member of the Jordanian handball team, passed away today, Tuesday, after having a heart attack on Monday in Amman, during a local competition.
A video clip from the Jordan Handball Cup revealed that the 36-year-old fell during the game of his team, “Kafranja,” in front of his “Salt” rival.
Kafrnaja said on its Facebook page, that the player “was subjected to a severe heart attack while participating in the Kafr Fursah club match against Al -Salt Club on Monday.
The conference was held in the Princess Sumaya Hall at Al-Hussein City for Youth in the Jordanian capital, where Al-Atari suffered a heart attack in the middle of the second half.
Before being sent to a nearby hospital, the player “got first aid in the gym,” the player’s coach continued.
Later, the club’s official page announced the death of Al -Atari.
