Didier Drogba, a legendary African player for Chelsea, offered his opinion on the recent two-day rumour that the country had converted to Islam.
Drogba clarified the image circulating on social media networks, and wrote through his personal account on “Twitter”: “This story is spreading quickly, but I have not changed my religion.


He continued, “This was just a moment of collaboration, a lot of love, and blessings for everyone. I was visiting my Muslim brothers in my village.
Although this story is becoming viral, my religion hasn’t changed. this was Just Me Paying Respect to My MUUSLIMHERS I was Visiting in My Village. An occasion for community.

The 44-year-old with the moniker “Euphia Elephant” stood up for various European clubs, most notably Chelsea, which won 16 championships, including the English Premier League four times and the Champions League once.
The Ivorian star also achieved three championships with Galatasaray: the Turkish League, the Turkey Cup, and the Turkish Super Cup.

Drogba represented his country, Ivory Coast, in 105 international games, scoring 65 goals and contributing 11 game-changing passes.
