The first comment from Drogba on the news of its conversion to Islam

Didier Drogba, an Ivorian striker for Chelsea and a former member of the Cote d’Ivoire squad, refuted the recent rumours that he had converted to Islam.
Drogba wrote through his personal account on the social networking site Twitter: “I did not change the religion, this was just respect for my Muslim brothers who I was visiting in my village, a moment of teamwork, a lot of love and blessings for everyone.

In a series of pictures shared on Druzeba’s social media, he was seen lifting his hands in prayer to the Lord and praying beside one of his pals, whose conversion to Islam created a lot of controversy.
Although this story is becoming viral, my religion hasn’t changed. this was only a simple act of respect on my part toward the MUUSLIMHERS I visited in my village. An occasion for community. Many blessings and much love to everyone.
