At the conclusion of today’s trading on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, the banking sector index rose by 1. 84% to conclude at the level of 1011 points.
The banking industry observed trading volumes totaling 10 million shares, worth a total of 298 million pounds, during today’s transactions.
Approximately 12 billion pounds were earned by the Egyptian Stock Exchange at the end of Monday’s trading session, as the EGX30’s primary index rose by 2 points.

The EGX70 index increased 0. 81% to close at 2237 points, and the EGX100 index increased 1. 06% to 3260 points.
Following purchases by Arab and foreign investors with net values of about 74 million pounds and 231 million pounds, respectively, and sales by Egyptians with a net value of 306 million pounds, the market capitalization was closed at 770. 3 billion pounds as opposed to 758 billion at the end of the Sunday session.

Fourth place went to Arab Cement shares, which increased by 6% to close at 5.4 pounds, while fifth place went to civil works, which increased by 5.3% to 16.4 pounds a share.
