Traffic stop leads to drug and weapons charges in Quinte West

Following a traffic stop in Quinte West on Saturday, a man from Belleville is charged with drug and firearm possession.
On November 6, at at 2:45 a.m., Brayden Bunnett, 20, was stopped on Couch Crescent in Centennial Park.
According to the police, they allegedly saw what seemed to be cocaine when conversing with the accused.
The driver was asked to leave the vehicle and police say they found what turned out to be an imitation handgun inside the driver’s side door.

A collapsible baton and methamphetamines, according to the police, were also found.
Bunnett will show up in court on December 12 in Belleville.
