The release of feed supplies is continuing in coordination with the Central Bank, according to Mr. Al-Qusayr, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, who made the announcement in the context of following up on the findings of the meeting regarding poultry wealth held by Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister: –
“Al -Qusayr” added that during the past five days, 172 thousand tons of corn and soybeans were released by about 77 million dollars.

148 thousand tonnes of maize, valued at around 53 million dollars, and about 24 thousand tonnes of soybeans, valued at about 17 million dollars, as well as feed additions of about 6 million dollars, were included in the discharge, he continued.
For the past two weeks, 355 thousand tonnes of material—including 270 thousand tonnes of atom, 85 thousand tonnes of soybeans, and feed additions—have been released, costing a total of around 171 million dollars.

“Al-Qusayr” emphasised that the release intends to supply markets with adequate amounts of farm animals as well as corn and soy, which are the main ingredients in poultry feed.
The Minister of Agriculture stated that there is a continuous follow -up and full coordination with the Central Bank and the Poultry Union for the periodic release of corn, soybeans, materials and feed additives from Egyptian ports..
