After its withdrawal from Russia … foreign brands resume the supply of their products to the Russian market

The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade banned the import of perfumes and cosmetics for a group of famous brands across third countries after these brands decided to resume their products imports to Russia.
The brands “LANCOME,” “Redken,” “Yves Saint Laurent,” “Giorgio Armani,” and “Kerastase” are prepared to restart supplies to Russia, according to a statement released by the Russian ministry.

The Ministry announced that the restriction on imports through third nations will go into effect in three months, giving Russian businesses that purchased these brands’ products through third countries time to get them onto the Russian market.

Western nations put sanctions on Moscow as Moscow began a special military campaign in Ukraine, and a number of Western businesses announced the suspension of their operations or exit from the Russian market.
As part of the steps taken to respond to Western procedures, the Russian government permitted the importation of the goods produced by enterprises that were withdrawing from the market at the end of March.
