Pyongyang: We will respond firmly to the training of America and South Korea

According to the North Korean state news agency, Pyongyang declared on Monday that it will respond to the joint training exercises between the United States and South Korea with “sustainable, firm and comprehensive military actions.”
The agency quoted the army, describing the air training conducted by South Korea and the United States last week as a clear provocation and dangerous war exercises, pledging to continue to respond with “firm and overwhelming” military measures.

This warning came amid a series of missile tests conducted by North Korea in recent weeks, including four ballistic missiles launched on Saturday, days after the conclusion of the United States and South Korea, the largest training for the Air Force.
In a previous statement, Pyongyang referred to the “Vigilant Storm” manoeuvres as “provocative and hostile,” and it threatened to make Seoul and Washington “pay the biggest price in history.”

The United States and South Korea’s military exercises are seen as attempts by North Korea to attack its land or overthrow its government.
In September, North Korea made adjustments to its nuclear faith that allows it to carry out preventive strikes in the event of an existential threat to the Kim Yong Un regime.

According to the new policy, a nuclear strike will be launched automatically and right away if the North Korean “leadership and control structure” is threatened by a hostile attack.

Pyongyang: The United States and South Korea’s training will receive a firm response from us.
