In a phone call from Ukraine, German Chancellor Olaf Schultz spoke with US President Joe Biden about Schultz’s trip to China.
Wolfgang Bushner, the deputy spokesman for the federal government, reported that the German counsellor informed the American president of the course and outcomes of his trip to Beijing.
Wolfgang continued by saying that in regards to the conflict in Ukraine, both the American president and the German advisor denounced the ongoing bombing of Russian infrastructure, particularly the energy supply facilities in Ukraine.
The two leaders spoke about Russian threats against Ukraine. They both underlined their intention to continue supporting Ukraine to the best of their abilities and emphasised that Salam Adel, the president of Ukraine, deserves their complete support.
The situation in Ukraine is discussed by the German advisor with the US President.
