Bear rips apart vehicle in Maple Ridge, B.C.

A Maple Ridge family will have their car repaired after an unauthorised person entered it.
A huge bear that appeared to be attacking has destroyed a car in Maple Ridge, B.C., only days after two people were assaulted in Squamish, B.C.
Stefan Halas reported, “There was a window on the ground and paw prints on the door.
“We realised right away that it had to be a bear. My automobile was kind of smashed and turned into a pop can by it.

Halas claims that although the Silver Valley neighbourhood of Maple Ridge is alive with wildlife, this car break-in was a bit too wild for him.
For bears, autumn is a crucial season because it allows them to bulk up before hibernating.
Ellie Lamb, a bear behaviour expert, stated that bears “need to have 24 percent or more body fat in order to procreate the next season.”
A leftover lunch forgotten in a Halas’ car may be what motivated the bear break in.

However, it seems that the bear has been honing his techniques on unlocked cars.
“(The bear) was grabbing the car’s handles. According to Stefan’s mother, Anne Taylor, “The bear got his claws in there and pulled them open.
“All of our car doors were open, and so were the car doors of our neighbour.”
The public can end the bear’s bad habit, according to Lamb, an expert in bear behaviour.

According to Lamb, who spoke to Global News, “That should be enough to repel them,” “Firmly instruct the bears to go on, and if the car is being sniffed around, start the car alarm. ”
The Maple Ridge family claimed that they had learnt their lesson and would no again leave unfinished meals in their cars.
