The Supreme Council for Culture organizes the Fine Arts Competition for Arts Students

For talented young artists and students studying the fine arts, the Supreme Council for Culture’s Fine Arts and Architecture Committee sponsors competitions in photography and poster design, as well as in the domains of battling corruption and raising public awareness of its dangers.
The competition is supported by Dr. Hisham Azmi, the Supreme Council of Culture’s Secretary-General, and Dr.

Suhair Othman, decision of the Fine Arts and Architecture Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture to invite young people interested in plastic arts to participate in the competition organised by the committee in the area of anti-corruption and awareness of its risks. The competition includes: photography, design, and filmmaking. The posters were awarded awards for a total of 23,000 pounds, with the first prize receiving 10,000 pounds, second prize earning 8,000 pounds, and third prize earning 5,000 pounds.

The rules of the competition stipulate that the submitted work must fit within a size limit of 70 cm by 100 cm, have a plan to fight corruption or outline its risks, and not be older than 35 at the time the competition is announced.
The works are being accepted to oversee the Supreme Council of Culture’s contests at Al-Jazeera Opera House Square (Mr. Magda Rifai) from December 25 to December 29, 2022.

The works entered for the competition are displayed in an exhibition that is organised during the first half of January 2023. The winners will be announced at the opening of the exhibition.

The competition will take place as part of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture’s initiatives to promote and sponsor young people with talent and as part of a series of activities and competitions to raise awareness of the risks of corruption and the value of fighting it.

The Fine Arts Competition for Arts Students is put on by the Supreme Council for Culture.
