The Minister of Energy was quoted on Sunday by the Algerian News Agency as saying that from January to September 2022, Algeria’s petroleum exports climbed by 77 percent on an annual basis to $ 42. 6 billion.
The exports over the same time period last year were $24.1 billion, Minister Mohamed Arqab remarked.
He stated that it is expected that Algeria’s fuel revenues will exceed $ 50 billion by the end of 2022.

The decision by OPEC+ to cut production by two million barrels per day, according to him, “would maintain the market balance and price stability in the range of $ 100 barrel to the end of the year.”
