Saudi Arabia defeats Iceland, in preparation for the World Cup in Qatar

In the “Al-Akhdar” training camp for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the Saudi football squad overcame their Icelandic opponent, 1-0, at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
The game’s lone goal was scored by Saud Abdel Hamid in the 26th minute.
Al-fourth Akhdar’s game took place in the Abu Dhabi camp, following victories over Northern Macedonia by scores of 1-0, Albania by scores of 1-1, and Honduras by scores of 0-0.

Before returning to Riyadh to face Croatia on November 16, Saudi Arabia will play its final game in the capital of the United Arab Emirates on Thursday against Panama.
After the Croatia game, Al-Akhdar travels to Doha to compete in the World Cup’s third group stage, which also features the teams of Argentina, Mexico, and Poland.
