“Do not eat me” .. vegetarians demonstrate against eating meat in a cup 27

Several climate activists from around the world organised a protest calling for an end to meat consumption on the fringes of the “COP 27” climate summit, whose activities began today, Sunday, in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
Do not eat me, according to the catchphrase.

The demonstrators held up banners with the words “and be vegetarian” in an appeal to stop eating meat from pigs, cows, fish, and poultry, noting that this is one of the factors contributing to the rise in greenhouse gas emissions, and that switching to a vegetarian diet is necessary to protect the environment.

The COP27 climate conference will take place in Sharm El-Sheikh from November 6 to November 18, 2022, with participation from world leaders as well as a number of international figures and experts.

Six international meetings are held in Sharm El-Sheikh as part of the climate summit’s activities. These meetings include the presidential summit, which will take place on November 7 and 8, the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27), the Conference of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol, the Conference on the Paris Agreement, and the Subcommittee for Implementation meetings.

The Climate Conference works to keep the global warming objective at 1.5 degrees Celsius and to adapt to extreme weather conditions like heat waves, floods, and forest fires. It also aims to increase the flow of climate money to help developing nations.
