In an effort to carry on his family’s political history, Mohamed Nizar Naguib, the eldest son of Naguib Razzaq, the imprisoned former prime minister of Malaysia, will run for a seat in one of the states in this month’s elections.
Nizar, 44, will run for the Piramo Jaya seat in the Bikan Federal Circle, according to the election committee, according to a report from the “Bloomberg” news agency published today, Sunday.

The Paris National Alliance, which is in power, has selected more than twenty additional candidates for the Pahang State elections, which will take place alongside the national elections on November 19.
The Parisan Alliance is attempting to enhance its position following a string of successful local elections by starting the election campaign for the public elections in Malaysia yesterday, on Saturday.
Approximately a thousand candidates submitted their nomination papers, according to the election committee.

In the 222 parliamentary seat elections, more than 21 million Malaysians will cast their ballots for Pahang, Pyrak, and Perlis state MPs.

In his first election in Malaysia, Ibn Naguib Razzaq is vying for a state seat.
