The rest until the overthrow of the regime … new calls to demonstrate in Iran

Calls for further protests were rekindled today, Sunday, as the rallies that first began in Iran in the middle of September neared in response to the execution of the young Kurdish woman, Muhsa Amini, who was in the second month of her pregnancy.
The youth in the areas of Tehran, Larstan, and Tabriz demanded further protests across the nation that evening.
These organisations reaffirmed their “would not stop until full victory,” as she described it, through data that was posted on the communication websites.

She emphasised further that “it will remain in the streets until the Islamic Republic regime is overthrown.”
This invitation came while many areas in the country still witnessed protests at night, burning pictures of a number of officials, headed by Iranian Leader Ali Khamenei, and the former Quds Force Commander in the Revolutionary Guards, Qassem Soleimani.

The student movement in universities also continues from strikes and protest stops, to condemn the arrest of many young men who participated in the demonstrations by the security forces.
According to reports, protests throughout the nation have not subsided since Amini was assassinated on September 16, 2022, three days after she was detained by the Ethics Police.

Her death has since ignited the fire of anger over several issues, among them the restrictions imposed on personal freedoms and strict rules related to women’s clothes, as well as the living and economic crisis that the Iranians suffer from, not to mention the extremist laws imposed by the system of government and its political and religious composition in general.
While the demonstrators were fiercely resisted by the security forces, who also arrested hundreds and killed scores of them.

314 protesters, including 47 kids, were slain in the unrest up until Friday, according to human rights activists (Herna). At least 14,170 people, including 392 students, were arrested in those protests that came out in 136 cities, town and 134 universities..

New appeals to protest in Iran have been made in the meantime, up until the regime’s overthrow.
