According to reports, the British government is aiming to save spending, and the “Sizwail C” nuclear energy project in Suffolk Province is reportedly being reviewed.
EDF Energy was supposed to construct the new reactor, which is situated around 30 miles northeast of the city of Epswich, according to the British Press Agency (BA Media).
In an effort to leave a lasting legacy while in power, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson promised to fund the project with 700 million pounds (785 million USD) in taxpayer funds in a recent political speech.
