The United Nations urges a mask to ensure human rights in the Twitter administration

In an open letter to Twitter CEO Ellen Musk on Saturday, Volcker Turk, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, urged Musk to “guarantee that human rights are important to the Twitter administration.”

Turk claimed that the message follows news of the firing of the entire human rights team from Twitter and all but two members of the moral artificial intelligence team, which is not a “encouraging start,” according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights’ official website.
Turk stated in the letter, “Respect for common human rights must impose protection obstacles to use and develop the platform.

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights encouraged Twitter to protect the right to privacy in the letter and emphasised that Twitter is responsible for preventing the spread of content that violates the rights of others.

The Twitter management is urged by the UN to wear a mask to protect human rights.
