The Romanian Foreign Ministry vehemently denied having any plans to annexe territory belonging to Bukharst and reaffirmed Romania’s support for the independence and unity of Ukraine.
“It is complete insanity to think that Romania has regional aspirations in Ukraine.”
Romania has declared “its unwavering support for the territorial integrity, independence, and sovereignty of Ukraine.”
It is significant that before, Andre Marga, a former foreign minister for Romania, declared that Ukraine’s boundaries were artificial and that Kiev should cede its territory to Russia, Hungary, Poland, and Romania.
