Yemen has enough wheat to last four months.

The assurance was given at a meeting in Aden between the Minister of Industry and Trade, Muhammad Al-Ashwal, and the president and members of the Chamber of Commerce, as well as leading merchants, importers, and entrepreneurs.
According to Saba news agency, the meeting discussed challenges confronting the business sector as well as efforts to stabilise the national currency and increase food security.

Following the signing of official agreements between the two countries, the Indian government moved to remove Yemen off the list of countries to which Indian wheat could not be sold.
Yemen’s grain and wheat prices are relatively stable, due to continuous assistance from the Arab alliance and the United Nations, and the country is on course to recover from its economic disaster.
According to the World Food Program, Yemen’s grain demand is predicted to be more than four million tonnes per year.
