News from Al-Madinah: Abdul Hamid Al-Dubba, the president of the Libyan National Unity Government, blamed the House of Representatives for the failure of the prior elections.
Al-Dabba charged that the House of Representatives was attempting to pass the extension project ahead of the elections while simultaneously replacing the administration.
He added that all security directorates in all Libya are able to implement the elections by assigning officers working in coordination with the High Electoral Commission.
There won’t be any more interim periods, Al-Duba urged the political parties to fight through the elections.
Imad Al-Sayyat, the chairman of the Electoral Commission, highlighted that the electoral law is in charge of security and the security authorities are in charge of maintaining it, adding that security will be accessible if there is a compatible electoral legislation on it.
