A Pakistani state records 279 new cases with dengue fever

The state of Pakistan’s “Khaybar Bakhtongua” region reported 279 new cases of dengue fever on the previous day, according to a ministry of health official.
According to the Pakistani Associated Press, there are currently 19720 cases of dengue fever in Khaybar Bakhtongua, and 13 more feverish patients have been taken to various hospitals in the area, bringing the total number of patients undergoing hospital treatment to 53.

The official continued, “The city of Beshawar registered the largest number of new cases in the state, reaching 142 new instances, bringing the city’s total cases to 8141.”
