Singer-rapper Aaron Carter dies in California at age 34

Aaron Carter, a singer-rapper who started out as a child performer and had success albums starting in his adolescent years, was discovered dead at his Southern California home on Saturday (local time). He was 34.
The singer’s death was verified by family representatives. They made no immediate follow-up comments.

Carter, the younger brother of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter, participated on the family’s reality series House of Carters, which aired on E! Entertainment Television, and played as Britney Spears’ opening act as well as with his brother’s boy band.
According to Deputy Alejandra Parra with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, deputies arrived at the Lancaster residence at around 11 a.m. (local time) in response to allegations of a medical emergency.

Parra claimed that when the deputies arrived at the house they discovered a body, though she was unable to quickly establish that it was Carter.
LOVE, Carter’s fifth and last studio album, was made available in 2018.
