The Arab Economic Unity Council’s regular session No. (114) will take place in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum in the middle of December.
Dr. Mohamed Bashar Mohamed, Undersecretary of Planning at the Ministry of Finance and Planning in Sudan, and Chairman of the Supreme Committee to prepare for the meeting, said that Sudan’s hosting of the meeting came after the approval of the invitation previously submitted by Sudan, representing the Minister of Finance, Dr.

If Gabriel Ibrahim presided over the (113th) session of the Arab Economic Unity Council in the Republic of Mauritania, where He presented an invitation to host the (114th) session in Sudan (next December).

He stated that senior officials and specialists will attend the meeting in addition to ministers, agents, permanent delegates, and ambassadors of member states, noting that the Ministry of Finance is organising preparations for the gathering and ensuring that all executive branch departments work together to ensure the meeting’s success and achievement of its objectives.

He expressed his hope that the meeting would advance the objectives of the council, which serves as one of the League of Arab States’ main tools for executing its executive policies and is charged with achieving complete economic unification among Arab nations by integrating Arab capital with local natural resources in Sudan to realise The Arab Food Security Initiative at a time when this goal is particularly important.
