During the opening of an exhibition named “The Centenary of the Discovery of the Cemetery of King Tutankhamun: Tutankhamun and his Family,” the Egyptian Museum unveiled 18 artefacts that belonged to King Tutankhamun, some of which were on show for the first time.

Four statues of the Golden Pharaoh were found among eleven statues in the cabinet of the Karnak Temple, along with a group of rings bearing the name of the king, and a small panel of the vinance with its names engraved on both sides. The mummy of the small lady, who is most likely King Tutankhamun’s mother (Queen Kia), is one of the most notable of these pieces. Along with a statue of King Akhenaten and his wife Kia, which was found at Tel Al-Amarna, a group of Ja’fin carrying the name of Queen “Ankh SN Amoun,” the wife of King Tutankhamun, the vessel Canopy Kia Umm Tutankhamun, and the head of a lion.

Among the pieces displayed by the Egyptian Museum to a pin for decoration is made of gold attributed to King Tutankhamun, depicting the boy, sitting on the throne and the queen in front of him with a width of 8. 5 cm.
