On Thursday, November 3, 2022, Major General Olofimi Akingoby, the head of operations, and the other major staff officers travelled to Maidoguri to begin the round of evaluation and morale-boosting for the operations theatre in the northeast. The army commander was also present. They started working right away and informed them of the security situation as well as other operational and administrative tasks.

Later, COAS ordered various finished constructions for Maimalaryi Cantonment, including a maternity and child care facility, a doctor’s office, and the headquarters of the first sergeant to command the theatre.
Major General Chris Moussa, the host, the theatre commander for the Hadoda Kai operation, Major General Robert Einjba, the army’s deputy marshal, and Major General Ibrahim Salhou, the army’s director of military intelligence, made up the delegation that accompanied COAS.
