This holiday season, the CF Toronto Eaton Centre won’t have its famous Christmas tree.
The galleria roof is “now being renovated with the newest materials and technologies,” according to a statement sent by Cadillac Fairview (CF) to Global News on Friday, in an effort to “increase energy efficiency.”
The centre will, however, “not be able to show its trademark tree,” according to CF.
CF stated that it will “miss having our renowned holiday tree on display” and expressed its excitement for its return the following year.
But this year, CF claimed it had prepared a “unique” event dubbed Merry Merry Music.
“Of course, CF Toronto Eaton Centre will still be adorned with other beautiful holiday displays and decor for guests to see and capture,” the statement read..
This year’s renowned Christmas tree at CF Eaton Centre won’t be there.
